PIB Group Iberia has announced the acquisition of Vitaance, pending final authorisation from the Dirección General de Seguros y Fondos de Pensiones (DGSFP).
Vitaance is one of the most advanced wellbeing and employee benefits technology platforms in the market, and will strengthen PIB Group Iberia’s position in the fields of personal protection, flexible compensation and corporate wellbeing.
Vitaance provides a digital solution that unifies all employee benefits and insurance in a single environment, offering complete flexibility to design any compensation plan, from flexible remuneration and social benefits to physical, mental and financial wellbeing programmes.
The platform applies gamification and behavioural science to encourage engagement and loyalty among teams, while simplifying company administration through advanced dashboards and data analytics.
It currently has more than 10,000 active users and expects to close 2025 with 200% growth compared to the previous year, consolidating its position as one of the fastest growing insurtechs in the corporate benefits sector.
Its business structure consists of three complementary entities: the technology development company, an insurance brokerage, and an underwriting agency. The latter two are currently undergoing validation by the DGSFP, with completion expected in early 2026.
Founder and CEO of Vitaance Ana Zamora will join PIB Group Iberia as Director of Flexible Remuneration to lead the integration strategy of the platform and the development of new solutions focused on wellbeing and talent retention.
Vitaance will unite with PIB Iberia’s Employee Benefits division, led by Silvie Cuijpers, driving a comprehensive model of compensation, foresight and wellbeing that combines expert insurance advice with cutting-edge technology.
Martín Navaz, CEO of PIB Group Iberia, commented: “Employee benefits is a key area in our strategic plan, and the role of technology in this process is undeniable. The acquisition of Vitaance and the appointment of Ana Zamora as head of the division will position us as one of the leading players in compensation and wellbeing solutions”.
Ana Zamora, new Director of Flexible Remuneration at PIB Group Iberia, commented: “As an insurtech, technology has been in our DNA since day one. Joining PIB Group enhances our service capabilities and doubles down on our commitment to employee protection and health prevention. Our goal is to offer tools that improve people’s lives and foster more human and sustainable corporate cultures”.
